How can I get involved?
There are so many ways you can support us and get involved with the work of the Nightline Association. We’re a small charity and it’s your help and support that allows us to continue the work we do for student mental health.
Are you a current student?
We are looking for a variety of students, those who are involved in a Nightline alongside those who aren’t, those who are at Universities which have a Nightline service and those who aren’t to join our Student Advisory Panel.
The purpose of this group is to ensure students are feeding in to our strategy and plans, ensuring students are still at the heart of our mission and vision as an organisation. The Nightline Association is entering a period of change and development, and working with students throughout this period is vital to our values.
Join the Nightline Association team
Nightline Association is run by a team of staff and volunteers, and as the charity grows we’re looking for passionate volunteers who can play a hands-on role in the operation and development of the charity.
Working or volunteering for the Nightline Association can be a rewarding and valuable experience. Put your talents to good use and develop new skills at the heart of a small, ambitious charity, feel free to apply!
Events and Fundraising
Help us be there for students across the country by fundraising for the Nightline Association. Take on a challenge and have fun, all while raising vital funds to support our work in student mental health. We have events all across the UK – run, walk, swim, cycle or bungee, find a challenge to suit you and start fundraising!
Have your own fundraising idea? There are lots of fun and easy ways to raise money. We’d love to support you and work with you to run your own fundraising event for the Nightline Association.
Make a Donation
Nightline Association needs the generosity and support from people like you in order to make our impactful projects a reality. Whether it’s a one-off donation, or a regular amount each month, your donation means there is always a voice at the end of the phone for students in distress.
Become a Partner of the Nightline Association
We work with a wide range of organisations in partnerships that inspire colleagues, champion student mental health and offer skill sharing and volunteering opportunities.
There are plenty of ways to partner with us which can suit your organisation and objectives. These partnerships allow us to launch new projects and develop our service so students across the UK can access the highest level of emotional support.
Were you involved in Nightline at University?
Students who volunteer with Nightline, whether as a listening volunteer, a public facing volunteer or another role, have a unique skillset. Nightline volunteers take so much from their experiences, and we would love to hear about your time. What did you learn? What would you change if you could go back and do it again? Sign up to our new alumni contact list, and we’ll be in touch.
Have you called Nightline?
If you’ve called Nightline and want to share how you found the call, please provide details on our feedback form. We want to learn, develop and continue to grow this service for students. It is important we stay true to our values of kindness, transparency, empathy, dependability, assuming good intent and inclusiveness. With feedback from you, we can continue providing a peer listening service, by students, for students.
